FAMILY VOICE COMMITTEE
Each class within the school has a parent/family representative who meet with the Head Teacher once a Term.
Within the Committee we have a Governing Body representative and a Community representative.
There is an agenda which is followed each term eg discussion of the School Development Plan priorities etc. This agenda is dependent on the time of year and what the school feels is important to share in more detail with our families. This can then be fed back through the representatives to all our families.
The members bring forward anything that our families are concerned about or things that they feel are going very well or even things they feel need more explanation. The group tries to have a balance of positive feedback and feedback around things that may need tweaking. The group also share ideas which are noted down. Minutes are written and actions fed back during the next meeting.
The meetings provide a safe space to discuss these things in a positive and friendly way.
The group has proven to be very successful and all members enjoy the chance to share information and ideas.
